About Our Foundation
River of Hope Foundation was created in honor of Bill Connor. In August of 2004, Bill lost his son to a long battle with cancer. Within weeks, Bill, himself, was diagnosed with leukemia. Through numerous rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant, his cancer was in remission. Unfortunately, it returned twice in the last year, most recently in May 2008. Bill lost his battle to cancer on September 2nd 2008. He will be greatly missed here, but we know he is rejoicing in Heaven.
Our Mission
To spread a positive message of hope and strength to those battling the struggles of cancer, as well as to further public awareness of this life-changing disease through the application and support of integrative therapies.
